Alençon
Hello! We are getting ready to leave again, to go to Versailles! The word which my Spelling Bee runner-up managed to spell is where I will be going. It will be interesting.

France
Hello! We just stopped at a gas station to get some food and drinks to eat and drink as snacks. We also went to the bathroom. Anyways, back to the road!

It was helpful that they matched in pink that day, as it was very crowded. (photo: Stephanie)
Day 21, ??:?? Am, July 16, 2024
Versailles Gardens, France
Hello! I am on a bench, in the Queen’s Grove. It is a very secluded spot, where not a lot of tourists go. It is very close to the entrance of the gardens, but no one goes here because they are too interested looking at the gardens from above. Although some tourists have enough brain-power in their pea-sized traveling brains to come here.

L’Orangerie where they had a cool art exhibition, plus a statue of Louis XIV by Bernini at the far end. (photo: Stephanie)
Windy, sunny family selfie with the palace behind us. We were also cracking up because of the influencers next to us doing silly poses but in the utmost seriousness. (photo: Stephanie)
The gardens are so heckin massive that even though there were TONS of people there, we could still find quiet avenues all to ourselves. (photo: Stephanie)
The Hall of Mirrors, where lots of important stuff happened. (photo: Dory)
An exceptionally pretty chèvre that Thomas and I ate for dinner once we got back to the hotel. With a lovely French wine in a paper cup, because we are fancy like that. (photo: Stephanie)
