European Adventure 2024, Day 17: traveling from Amiens to Bayeux

Day 17, 12/7/24

Amiens, France

Hello! I am currently in the car again, and we are going to Bayeux. This second phase of our vacay is very hectic. Always moving one side up and down the other! But at least I had a good breakfast. Maybe a bit too much caffeine though…But Amiens is a very nice village.

Rest stop, France

Hello! I am currently sitting at a picnic bench, and we are preparing to eat! Sis has a bug, but otherwise everything is good! We have another hour to wait to get to our destination, and I will write once I am there!

Apparently Dory did not write once we got to Bayeux. But I did take this photo because I was having a hard time figuring out how much money I should put in the meter. Driving in Europe is super expensive, and parking is never free. Well, except on Sundays and other very specific hours of the other days. Like I said, confusing. And expensive. (photo: Stephanie)
